Greetings to the spell boosting mage, Afanas! His deck focuses around playing cheap spells like Helping Hand and Magical Training to boost characters in order to win expeditions, before ending the game with either a barrage of spells or Small Step, Giant Leap.

Your best targets to gain these boosts are cards with Seasoned, like Red and Bravos Bladedancer, or Kadigiran Mage-Dancer for even more spell boostage.

Mandatory cards to play are the aforementioned cards, as well as Meditation Training to keep your boosted characters on board. All the other slots are free for you to play around with, and Uniques that gain/give boosts are also good additions to the deck.
