A very low to the ground robots/permanents strategy that has worked out very well after lots of reiterating and testing, with some slightly unconventional picks for rare slots.
for the first few days, Coppélia, Ada Lovelace, and Foundry Engineer are amazing for value when combined with your hero ability. Foundry Engineer has actually been one of the most surprising cards, but the one-to-one discount and mana cost means that you can play the cheap permanents for free which can make a huge difference early in the game
The most difficult part of the deck is keeping the fuel going, so Technological Encounter and Ada Lovelace are really important to keep things moving, luckily because the cards are so cheap you can hopefully get away without gaining mana once you have enough to be comfortable.
Other than that, go fast and play smart removal and it should work well. Comments are very appreciated.
Uptade-4/20/25: Dropped Avalanche to common and swapped the little match girl for rare Brassbug Hub. Having another cheap permanent and a consistent way to get more bugs gets the deck running a bit smoother.
Update-7/28/25: Subhash has been struggling a bit in the new set, but there are some good tools that help with the gameplan. The Grems work great with Bug-Out Bag and the other cheap permanents the deck is running. I've also added Hooked, as it is a nice disruption piece that keeps your hand full. Adding some cards that augment might also be a good idea, as you could use them to cheat out an Icebound really quickly.
Update-11/9/25: Restocking Station is a great new card that works really well with the main gameplan, being able to replay cards like Foundry Engineer, Ada Lovelace and The Grems for extra value is very nice.
Update-3/23/26: very sad suspensions for the deck, but the new set brings some good stuff. Failed Demo is a great piece of cheap removal that axiom was desperate for and Technological Encounter is incredible for Subhash as a day one option and good value throughout the game.
Update-5/10/26: sets 6 and 7 are now available in some form so there are upgrades to be had. Unfortunately testing these cards is going to be difficult, but I'll be trying to use what I can get. Cards that care about an empty hand are great for us as Subash helps with that every noon. Hephaestus, God of the Forge is probably the best exalted card to run, as he is technically a two mana permanent and the card draw happens after we've played cards that care about hand size.
