Kojo Surge

This is an aggro deck with some “midrange sensibilities”. It requires some concentration to be played, since it’s not as consistent as some other common aggro decks.

It’s like a chamaleon, with a variety of tricks. If you go first you can ramp; going second allows you to just destroy any permanent or insidious anchored character if your oppo gets a slow opening.

Rare Tracers are a must, since they remain consistent throughout the game. I play 2 copy of most cards, 1/3 necessity, 2/3 half strategy.

I play 2x Haven but they can be easily replaced with more bodies or Intimidation for more early aggro. They saved my life more often than not, but there are times where I’d really want more meat.

I play Fairies over Spies because they are cheaper and because I like them more.

You can make the deck more control and midrange-y buy adding the third reaping, removing the fairy, possibly trading some ramping cards for more “spell consistency” (or more mid game bodies such as Kappa or your third Jinn).

You have enough bodies to zig zag against non bugged, ridiculously designed decks such as Ordis and Treyst, still have chances to grab a lane per day if the oppo goes that route.

Card advantage is a problem, but you can manage it thanks to your very strong Bladedancers (putting some pressure), Kitsune and the option of adding Ozma, whose trigger is pretty common in this deck.

You can turn this into a brainless aggro by adding 3x of the key cards and removing all tech-characters.

Let’s discuss it if you like! Cheers!
